Hymns Video Course​

Dr. Josh Wright has created a new series dedicated to learning hymns. This was created for a variety of individuals, including:
 - People wanting to improve sight-reading skills
- Young men and women preparing for church missions
- Parents of future missionaries, needing a practice aid
- Teachers wanting an aid to help students in their practice sessions

This is a growing library of videos that will eventually reach well over 100 hymns. Josh has chosen to use the LDS hymnbook, as it is available for free online. 
Regardless of your religious beliefs, this series was designed to help students do the following:
- Drastically improve sight-reading through the study of four-part harmony
- Understand hand placement on the keyboard and how to choose good fingering
- Increase understanding of rhythm and counting
- Improve harmonic analysis skills - Josh guides the student through analyzing the key of each chord in the piece
- Learn how to improvise and create your own hymn arrangement
