I was talking to a wise friend the other day, also a musician (and a marketing genius), and he gave me some insight that I won't soon forget. "When you have something of real value, of real worth, don't just throw it out there. Plan, strategize, and release the material at the best time possible. If necessary, make people wait for it." I've always been one to start, to get going immediately, but this advice has caused me to reflect a lot on the success of certain projects, and the lack of it with others. Waiting for the right time, with any situation in life, can mean the difference between success and failure.

Well yes, don't overflow - but I like your way of making videos. Now in order to get onto a stable carreer you probably will need to have three or more legs, one: playing known pieces which people like and where you know how to get the magic prominent, two: know the concert halls and connections all around, which is almost impossible except for a handful local places - three: talk about music (be a teacher and lecturer) you are so great a musician and it is worth listening to your thoughts. I have got back into optimistic practicing, and though I'm 70 yr. I plan to play to some people here and there (not recitals, though :) ) Best wishes!
